Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026. In these terms “we” is LFORM Building and Maintenance (ABN [to be added]), Adelaide, South Australia, and “you” is the business that buys the workbooks.

1. What these terms cover

These terms cover the Costright Estimate and the Costright Risk, together “the workbooks”. They apply when you buy or use a workbook.

2. What you can do with them

When you buy a workbook, you may use it for one business and up to 3 people in that business, on Windows desktop Excel. The right is non-exclusive and non-transferable. There is no licence key and nothing to activate.

3. How long it lasts

You may keep and use the version you bought. The price includes 12 months of updates and email support from the day you buy.

4. Rates and results are indicative

The workbooks are calculators, not advice. The rates, margins and ranges supplied are samples only, and the results depend on what you enter. The award prevails over any rate you enter. You must check the current award or pay guide, and your own costs, before you quote.

5. What you may not do

You may not resell the workbooks, share them outside your business, or republish them.

6. Your data

Your estimates, rates, risk registers and documents stay in your own files and belong to you. The workbooks do not connect to the internet. We receive only what the privacy page lists.

7. Ownership

We own the design, formulas and macros of the workbooks. You own the data you put into them.

8. Warranties and liability

Our workbooks come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid.

9. Ending the right to use them

Either of us may end this agreement for a serious breach that is not fixed within 14 days of notice. If it ends, you keep your own files.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of South Australia. We will try to settle any dispute by talking first.
